In the middle of the 21st century, when Tokyo’s underworld is dominated by the criminal bosses, Demon Lords, who gained superpowers through ether enhancement surgery. Only heroes like bounty hunters can stop them, and they enhanced their potential by taking a drug named E-Three. Killing is legal in this world, so heroes focus on survival rather than justice. Yashiro, known as Reaper, is one of the heroes who works on his own. His alone life changes when he meets Jougamine, a high school girl who calls herself his “Apprentice”. After reluctantly accepting her, he soon gets trapped in violent conflicts.
