The story is set in early 1900s London, when Lili Ichijouin, a Japanese exchange student, moves to England to continue studying at the Saint Thomas Art Academy. She always has a dream of becoming a painter, but her arrival becomes heavy with her parents’ expectations of being a class topper within six months or returning to her homeland. Her determination deepens when she meets Kit Church, a talented aristocrat who is famous for his skills and attitude. Kit is devoted only to painting, but Lili’s softness and sincerity slowly change him. They share their love for painting, and this growing bond becomes an important part of their academic life.
